Bidding Procedure
- Base prices are set and initial bids will be taken until 7:00 March 29th
- All bidder names will be kept strictly confidential during the Bidding Process
- Bids are placed with sale secretaries at the buyer registration desk. Bids will be taken at a minimum of $100 increments. Once a calf is at $2000, bidding will move to $200 increments. Each time a bid is placed, the buyer number and the bid will be recorded on the card for that particular sale lot. Current Bids will be posted and updated until 7:00 pm on March 29th.
- You must submit your initial final bid by 7:00pm on Sat. March 29th, 2007. After 7:00pm on Sat. March 29th, the final sale of each calf will be conducted by phone. All bidders on a calf are eligible to bid during the phone auction. Runner up bidders will have the option to drop to another calf that is not already sold.
- Please note: if you cannot be reached by phone, we will move to the next bid.
- We hope to conclude the sale in 24hrs. (7:00 Sun March 30th)
- Sellers reserve the right ot one flush of eight or more at our expense and buyers convenience on all females selling. Seller also retains the right to obtain a DNA cell line for cloning purpose on all cattle selling ( heifer or steer).
- No calf will leave the ranch without secure form of FULL payment.
Load Out
Purchased calves will not be loaded out until March 31st. Purchased calves must be picked up by April 7th, 2008. Bar A Cattle Co. will be responsible for care and feeding until April 7th.
Guarantee
- We guarantee all sire information. All calves are sold as is with no implied guarantee of quality,soundness, fertility, etc. All sales are final.
Services
- Bar A offers clipping and hoof trimming at reduced rates for interested customers. $50 until Oct. 1st, $100 after Oct. 1st for Clipping, $20 Hoof Trimming
- We will register heifers for an addition $50.
Vaccinations
- Calves have had 2 shots of the following IBR, Black Leg, & Pasturella. They were given Iivomec wormer March 1st. Heifers are not tattooed or calfhood vaccinated.
- Please call the day before you are going to load out so we can pen cattle that morning!
